Miradouro De Sao Pedro De Alcantara

The Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara is one of the largest point of view and the best for Photography in Lisbon.  From here you can see Avenida da Liberdade, Restauradores and Baixa, besides the Castelo de São Jorge with its imposing walls. You can also see in full detail the Miradouro da Igreja da Graça, with its imposing church. It is part of a beautiful garden where you can enjoy a drink at the kiosk. You’ll also find an original map made of azulejos identifying some of the iconic places you can see.  From the narrow streets of Alfama to the stunning views from Miradouro da Graça, we’ll show you all the hidden gems that Lisbon has to offer.

Miradouro Das Portas Do sol

I am particularly proud of my photos of Lisbon, and Miradoru das Portas do Sol is another point view where taking amazing photos, from here you can see the Church of San Vicente de Fora, as well as a stunning view of the river. Alfama's houses and the building of the Museum of Decorative Arts are also visible.

The iconic Statue of Saint Vincent, is located in the observation Deck. This statue is a symbol of Lisbon’s rich and ancient history, declared the patron saint of Lisbon after his relics were transported to the church of San Vicente de Fora in 1173. Saint Vincent is depicted holding a ship with two crows, which are the symbol of Lisbon. The legend says that after the martyr's death the body of Saint Vincent was thrown ashore by a wave, and until he was found, he was guarded by two crows so that the animals would not touch him. This legend has become my symbol and I strive to capture this spirit of protection and reverence in my work.
